No reserve auction for an awesome lot Hallmark Star Trek ornaments available in time for Christmas. 65 total brand new, never displayed ornaments in their original boxes. No doubles. I purchased each ornament myself and stored them as safely as possible so most have little to no shelf wear on the outer box. 

With a lot this large I obviously cannot provide multiple photographs of each ornament in the primary listing. I certainly will provide additional photos upon request and answer any questions to help you judge the overall condition. Please make any requests before bidding as I CANNOT accept returns on these items.

Star Trek: The Experience Stocking! (#703308)

Las Vegas was home to a unique interactive Star Trek destination from 1998-2008 called Star Trek: The Experience. The gift shop offered many non-Hallmark Star Trek ornaments and a Christmas tree skirt and now it seems there was also a matching Christmas stocking (703308). The stocking had an original MSRP of $20.00.

The tree skirt doesn’t come around very often on ebay and this is my first time seeing the matching Christmas stocking. The auction ends November 16, 2021 so if this is something of interest you may want to jump on it quickly.

By the Numbers: HMS Bounty Ornament Sells Out for NYCC Online Event

Yesterday’s NYCC online-only event went live at 11:59 am E.S.T. and while it only took the event exclusive Star Wars Boba Fett ten minutes to sell out and the Ghostbusters Ectomobile 45 minutes, it took the HMS Bounty Star Trek ornament more than 30 hours. The Star Trek event exclusive ornament had previously been available for the SDCC online event (July 23, 2021) and the KOC online event (August 17, 2021).

All 3,750 Klingon Bird-of-Prey ornaments have now been released to the public through the three events. If you are still in need of an ornament you will now need to look at the secondary market where eBay prices have seemed to bottom out at around $60 as of late.

Maxine Star Trek Cosplay Sold on eBay

A 2016 Hallmark Star Trek Maxine Cosplay ornament sold on eBay for only the second time this year. The hard to find ornament sold on September 18, 2021 for $710.45. The last time a Maxine ornament was sold was on March 26, 2021 for $643.25 (I know, I bought it). The event exclusive Star Trek Maxine Cosplay ornament was released for Star Trek’s 50th anniversary and limited to 100 pieces.

A word of warning not to buy/preorder the overpriced HMS Bounty that is showing up on eBay. The event exclusive ornament will be available to buy from home on July 23, 2021 at Noon E.S.T. and October 7, 2021 at Noon E.S.T. There will be a limited amount so be sure to log in early.

2020 Tribble Convention Exclusive Preorders on eBay

Preorders for this year’s convention exclusive Tribble are beginning to show up on eBay.  Hallmark has yet to announce how the Tribble will be made available since most of the conventions have been cancelled/postponed due to COVID-19.  Convention exclusive ornaments have always been available for preorder in year’s past from convention goers.  The current price of $119.99 is on the high side of the typical $80-$120 the exclusives typically fetch this early in the game.  The Tribble will be made available originally at $20.

2020 Star Trek Ornament Price Hike *UPDATED*

When the 2020 Hallmark Star Trek Storyteller Ornaments were announced they had a price tag of $29.99 per character and $119.99 for the Enterprise Tree Topper.  We now have had our first glimpse of the 2020 Hallmark Dream Book and the Storyteller characters are now $34.99 and the Tree Topper is a whopping $149.99. OUCH! You will be looking at $254.96 for the 2020 Star Trek lineup and that is before the Event Exclusive Tribble appears on eBay for $60.00 – $100.00.

I wanted to make sure the following comment didn’t get lost in the comment section. Thank you for a well written response that sums up what many of us were thinking.

2019 SDCC Ornament Now Available!

The I.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek’s Mirror Universe is now officially available. With San Diego’s Comic-Con officially up and running fans are getting their hand on a rare Hallmark offering. Ornaments are beginning to show up on eBay starting around $89.99. A production run of 3,475 will makes there more valuable than your typical store ornaments.

When a transporter malfunction during an ion storm flung Captain James T. Kirk and three of his officers into another dimension, they found themselves on board the I.S.S. Enterprise, a Terran Empire battle cruise nearly identical in configuration to the ship they called home.  This “mirror universe” Imperial Star Ship Enterprise featured dagger-and-Earth symbols as decór, armed soldiers in every corridor, and torture chambers called agony booths to keep crew members compliant with command.

IMG_0755This is for two 2018 Hallmark Ornament Mr. Spock. What makes this special is that one of them is an error piece. As you can see in the pictures, one of the pieces has the Star Trek insignia on Mr. Spock’s shirt upside down. I checked online and on eBay and have not seen another one like this. The winner of this will get both the error and the correct piece. I emailed Hallmark along with the scans and even they were stumped. It could be a one of a kind piece. I purchased this last week at Kmart.

I was going to hold on to this until I have more information but I decided to sell it in order to pay for Christmas bills.

I uploaded a messaged sent by Hallmark just received today (January 3, 2019).

2018 Convention Exclusive Preorders Up on eBay

Lt. M’Ress and Lt. Arex from the Star Trek: The Animated Series are this year’s convention ornaments.  For those of you that won’t be able to make it to one of the conventions can pick it up secondhand off eBay.  Convention goers are taking preorders for the ornaments with Buy it Now options starting at $99.00.  They will be sold as a set of two with a retail of $40.00 and will be a limited run of 2800.

These ornaments will only be released at San Diego Comic Con (July 19-22), Star Trek Las Vegas (Aug 1-5), and New York Comic Con (Oct 4-7).

2017 Enterprise C SDCC Exclusive Preordering on eBay

The 2017 repainted Enterprise C is available for preorder from convention goers on eBay. Prices range from $99-$109 for a Buy-It-Now option.

The Hallmark ornament is limited to a run of 3,325 pieces and only 225 pieces per day at the San Diego Comic-Con that runs July 20-23, 2017.

A 1993 Hallmark display for the Enterprise D ornament.

The cardboard display is an insert that looks to swap in and out of a Hallmark display similar to the one for the 1994 Bird of Prey display.

On eBay is an auction selling off a lot of 84 1992 Galileo Hallmark ornaments.  At an asking price of $700 it averages to $8.33 per shuttlecraft.

A great opportunity for someone looking to resell them on the secondary market but it would make our day to see a Christmas tree decked out with nothing but Galileos.  Someone needs to make that happen (and send us a photo)!
