My MIL bought my husband the 1st Star Trek Hallmark ornament in 1992. After she became ill, I continued the tradition. When the Star Wars ornaments debut, of course I had to start that collection too. For our boys we have Marvel & DC and a few other collections. To date we have every single Star Trek, Star Wars, Marvel & DC ornament made by Hallmark.

My daughter insisted we use our Star Trek ornaments on the tree this year (zoom in to see them) and while everyone was good with it, she had a hidden reason for her choice.
I love both Star Trek and Legos, was excited to hear of their official collaboration, and had been seeing pictures and reading posts online from people who got the Enterprise D set, but knew I would not spend that much to buy it for myself.
However, this was the gift my wife and daughter had waiting for me under the Star Trek- themed tree. 🎁
