When a transporter malfunction during an ion storm flung Captain James T. Kirk and three of his officers into another dimension, they found themselves on board the I. S. S. Enterprise, a Terran Empire battle cruiser nearly identical in configuration to the ship they called home. This “mirror universe” Imperial Star Ship Enterprise featured dagger-and-Earth symbols as décor, armed soldiers in every corridor, and torture chambers called agony booths to keep crew members compliant with command.

Pros: Another unexpected delight! A clever repaint of the 2016 Pilot ornament. A must for any serious Trek fan!
Cons: The saucer and nacelles are adorned with the Terran Empire symbol but were never on the ship in the original or remastered versions of Mirror, Mirror.

Image from “Mirror, Mirror” showing the absence of the Terran Empire symbol on the saucer section.

In regard to the Terran Empire insignia, I do hear ya but that’s how the licensor was wanting things back then. We were not the only ones in that situation.
