This is delightful — and here’s a hearty hat tip to a mom’s painting skills! I talked my mom into painting a number of Aurora models when I was a kid. I specifically remember her bringing to life my models of Batman, Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, and Creature from the Black Lagoon. Those meant the world to me.
