Ornament collectors everywhere countdown to the day the new Hallmark Dream Book arrives in July. It is the true start of the Christmas season!
The first Star Trek ornament debuted in the 1991 Dream Book but was left out from 1992-1994. Trek ornaments would appear in the catalog every year once they returned in 1995. Below are all of the Dream Book pages that Star Trek ornaments have graced. I have substituted print advertisements for the years they were absent in the early 90s.

A big thank you to John L. for the photo below and passing along that Star Trek water globes are just hitting stores. In fact, John says he will be picking his up tomorrow. Feel free to forward us any photos!

A 2019 Spock decoupage ornament with an asking price of ‘$154.00 or Best Offer’ was sold on eBay. The asking price was in line with a July eBay sale when a Spock ornament was sold for $163.35. The decoupage ornament was originally sold at Walmart for around $5.00.

In April, at Star Trek Mission: Chicago, the PopMinded booth displayed the upcoming 2022 Trek merchandise which included a Star Trek Transporter Water Globe. The display showed a release date of August in photos posted by TrekCore.
The Transporter Chamber was displayed again at the PopMinded both at San Diego Comic-Con. It is said to have light and sound with a retail of $99.99.
My inbox has been hit up more and more as the month has progressed with inquiries on the Trek water globe. Unfortunately, as we near the end of August, there are still no signs of it. Whether it has been delayed to the fall, pushed back to 2023 or scrubbed completely is still to be discovered.

The design brief for the Delta Flyer called for a tough, all-enviroment shuttlecraft that combined Starfleet, Maquis, and Borg technology. The final ship was designed by Rick Sternbach, who worked hard to find a new and interesting shape.

Just last month a 2021 Picard ornament sold for $132.35 and now a second one recently showed up on eBay and sold for just $16.96.

Features:
A 2011 Defiant ornament went up for auction in July that had a few red flags. The seven day auction was originally launched with a $350 “Buy it now” option. In less than 9 hours it had received three bids before it was listed as sold, six days prematurely, for $51. It seems the ornament was relisted on eBay by the original seller and sold for $299.

Well, I received an update today from the would-be buyer that explains how everything went down.
“This was a rip off. I bought the ornament from Nacho at first he ended the auction because he had a buy now at $350 so he ended it I paid $51 then relisted it for $299 so I was the same buyer both totaled $350 which was the buy now price. I waited 2 weeks and he never shipping it. I opened a case he then shipped it but it was not a 2011 Enterprise in fact it was a part for a RV. I don’t believe he ever had it. I got all my money back and left bad feedback warning others to stay away!”

Fortunately, this buyer was able to get his money back. We appreciate him filling us in on the details.

“Don’t let them promote you, don’t let them transfer you, don’t let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship. Because while you’re there, you can make a difference.“
