We received some exciting news today from Hallmark with the release of the Einstein shuttlecraft available this fall. This will be your chance to get the ornament without having to pay convention-goers exorbitant prices unlike past years. Keep in mind, online ornaments with limited quantities have been know to sell out in under five minutes (and sometimes less than one minute). We will update you when we get closer to the October dates.

Who’s excited!?

The Einstein (NCC-1701⁄6) was a Federation Class F shuttlecraft that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-23rd century, attached to the USS Enterprise. (TOS: “The Doomsday Machine”)
In 2267, this shuttle was piloted by Commodore Matt Decker on a suicidal mission to the planet killer.
In the original version of the episode, the flight of the shuttle was recycled footage of the Galileo from “The Galileo Seven”. For the remastered version, CBS Digital crafted a CGI model with new registry and name. Though the registry was visible in the episode, the name was illegible. On StarTrek.com, Mike Okuda, when asked for the name of the shuttle, replied that it was the Einstein. –Memory Alpha

Hello! I’ll offer more info on this as we get closer to the on-sale date. Please take note of two details when it comes to the online sales:
—The shuttle as well as the action-figure replica will have the same sales restrictions online as we have placed at our conventions: one of each item per transaction. Anyone loading their cart will see their purchase rejected, which I’m sure will be frustrating. Don’t trying buying 10 or five or even two. Go for one, and if that isn’t enough, get back in line and try again.
—Quantities involved in these sales are greatly increased from offerings in past years. Previously, several hundred units of each exclusive were made available to KOC members. This time around, we will have 5,000 of each design for sale. In any past year of our event sales, Star Trek ornaments generally numbered 1,500-1,700 units per convention. This year’s total increases previous year’s total runs by a good amount.
I’m confident that this year’s ornaments will get into the hands of more Star Trek fans at a reasonable price than ever before. Thanks for your interest and willingness to try what I believe is an improved system for online sales.
