Make Your Own Lower Decks Ornaments: CHIBI IN MOTION

Trek Central on Facebook

Here’s your chance to make your own own Lower Decks ornaments! The core four are represented; Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford and the set is rounded out with Captain Freeman and two Badgeys, one being a “rare” golden edition.

Hallmark may be reluctant to ever release Lower Decks ornaments since the series is ending its five year run this week but all may not be lost. The CHIBI IN MOTION by Bullsitoy figures are very accurate likenesses of their 2-D namesakes and by simply removing the black clip and silver ring you can turn them into respectable ornaments. This can be accomplished with a couple pair of pliers in seconds.

The figures, with their dangly legs and arms (dangly being the “in motion” part), come sealed in their packaging with no description of the character within. At a price of $6.99 each, it won’t break the bank to double up, but may prove frustrating as you try to collect all seven characters. If you look elsewhere on the web (FB), you might even find a work around to “preview” your purchase. The roughly 3 1/2” figures are exclusively sold at Target and are typically found toward the front of the store near the Pokémon cards.

Hallmark…we still need the Cerritos.

“Today we assembled our 2024 Star Trek tree. The tree is brand new and we are waiting on two new ornaments to arrive… a Worf and a Riker! In the photo is Natalia Stuck I with the Galileo from the original series which is now at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. It’s a MUST see if you are a Trekkie like us!” – donstuck on Threads
