Boasting updates to its warp nacelles and overall design, this Enterprise was introduced in 1979’s “Star Trek: The Motion Picture.” Commemorate the 40th anniversary of the film’s release with this Christmas tree ornament that features light (battery-operated). Pros: Power button cleverly disguised as the bridge dome. The lighting from the navigation deflector casts a beautiful glow on the underbelly of the saucer section.
Cons: The front portion of the neck connecting to the saucer section is oddly painted black.

    Huh. I’ve not noticed that in five years. I can’t promise it won’t be black there in the reissue. I’ll ask someone whether there’s a reason for that. Nice eye!
