Additional information: Chief medical officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise starship, Dr. Beverly Crusher was a valued member of Captain Jean-Luc Picard’s inner circle of senior staff. This Christmas tree ornament features the red-headed, empathetic physician and commanding officer from “Star Trek: The Next Generation” wearing her blue lab coat and carrying a medical tricorder.
Pros: After 27 years, Hallmark is finally expanding the Next Generation crew lineup, and Dr. Crusher’s arrival is a delightful milestone. Her classic blue smock and signature hurried pose make for a warmly familiar and much-needed addition. Hopefully, this is not a one-off and we see Geordi, Guinan, Wesley and the rest in the future.
Cons: Sadly, this ornament can’t stand on its own, limiting shelf display options.
