Khan Noonien Singh
Born: India, Earth Genetically engineered superhuman, Late 20th Century
Introduced during the 1967 season of the STAR TREK television series, Khan was one of the show’s most notorious villians. Overthrown during Earth’s Eugenic Wars, he and his followers escaped in a hastily launched sleeper vessel and drifted in space for more than a century before being dis- covered by the U.S.S. ENTERPRISE. True to his nature, he plotted to take control of the ENTERPRISE, but was thwarted by Kirk and crew and exiled to the planet Ceti Alpha V.

Pros: Khan marks the first Star Trek character ornament not based on a main crew member—a bold move that showed Hallmark was willing to explore deeper corners of the Trek universe. A great choice in theory, and one that expanded the line beyond the bridge crew.
Cons: Unfortunately, this version is based on Space Seed, not The Wrath of Khan—where the character truly became legendary. The pose is generic and forgettable, the skin tone is noticeably off, and it lacks the intensity that made Khan an icon. Let’s be honest: the real Khan ornament fans want is Kirk, fists clenched, yelling his name to the heavens. It’s one of those moments that transcends fandom. Hallmark, we’re still waiting—KHAAAN!
